I had a chance to hear Johnny Bulford sing recently at the Orlando's Got Talent! event at Cowboy's and the guy sounds like the real deal. Bulford, the winner of the Colgate Country Showdown, is now up for another honor. He has been nominated for a Hollywood Music in Media Award for his song, "How Could I Not."

The charismatic Central Florida-based singer-songwriter was named “Best New Act In Country Music” at the 27th Annual Colgate Country Showdown (www.countryshowdown.com), hosted by superstar LeAnn Rimes at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium and was syndicated across the country this spring.
